An important medical tenet is, “First, do no harm.”  Recent research suggests that one-third of all feedback interventions actually result in decreased performance.  Additional research indicates that companies regularly using upward and peer feedback systems result in a decrease in shareholder value.   What current research exists to support “best practices” in the use of both the administration and effectiveness 360-degree feedback systems? 

This session will present current problems in using multi-rater interventions and provide practical answers and evidence-based solutions to ensure performance increase based on current research of diverse uses of 360 feedback tools and systems.

Kenneth M Nowack, PhD

The seminar will be presented by Dr Kenneth Nowack. Ken Nowack is a Chartered Psychologist with over 20 years experience in the development and validation of human resource systems and assessment tools. He has conducted research and published extensively in the area of 360 degree feedback, and is a member of the Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations and lecturer at the Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles.
